I've decided this is a terrible time of
year to hold meetings. Every meeting I've attended in
the last couple of weeks has had a fraction of its usual attendance--including
our VCIC core meeting on June 16th. Presumably many of
you were traveling, preparing for graduations, winding down from the school
year, and preparing for vacations.
The few of us who gathered decided to
postpone any discussion of future directions. We did,
however, firm up the details for the June 16th Bahai gathering. Renee has sent you a very complete email with that
information. Planning for the August 6th visit to
Padre Serra Parish is also well underway. We still don't have a date or any information about our September
visit to the Mosque.
We set a tentative date for our next
core meeting. If it works for most people, we will
meet July 21st and focus on future directions. The
place is still to be determined.
I will be out of town until July 5th,
but I will try to pick up on settling the next meeting date after my return. I hope everyone has a wonderful first half of summer!
