I thought I'd give you a quick update on the VCIC meeting last night
while it is still fresh in my head.

1. We agreed that the victory over violence event was a great 
success, and we want to do it again in the Conejo Valley in October . 
Everyone is exploring venues and will report back at the next
meeting. We also talked about maybe eventually taking the effort to
the CYA in Camarillo after more people are trained.

2. Our next meeting on August 19th (after a summer break) -- place tbd.

3. We want to resume visits to places of worship. At the August
meeting everyone is going to bring some dates for events in their own 
faith communities so we can put together a master calendar for the year.

4. Two topics were proposed for possible future forums:
Views of the After-Life
Dialogue on world peace through our common values of faith

5. There's $404 in the treasury.

6. We will continue to meet on Tuesday nights.
