Review of minutes: Ros motioned and Yahya seconded that we accept the minutes the motion was unanimously carried.

Report on programs visits:
Kellen, Tim and Teri attended the Music and Spirituality presentation at Temple Ner Ami. Kellen loved the program and especially appreciated the meditation exercise. Teri recapped it the basic concepts. Tim said he ate the chickpea before he was supposed to
Business:
Contact information: Teri passed the sheet around for correction
Future meetings: We will do business for 30 minutes and then have a sharing time: next time, one person will share a spiritual journey (fuzzy), followed by Q & A. Kellen will be the first sharer and speak for 15 minutes, followed by Q and A. From these, we may be able to choose a topic for a future community event.
New members:
People will invite others to represent their faith tradition, whatever they take that to mean. Bob will also see if he can contact the Oxnard Interfaith Ministerial association
Linda will contact a reporter for the Star and see if he is interested in interviewing the group
Discussion of doing service, forum, etc. Teri suggested working with local congregations on existing projects. Teri will send an email to the group soliciting nominations for service projects. We will reply to all with nominations

Entertainment: Masako said she might be able to get Taiko drummers from outside of the immediate area. Teri asked for us to come back with ideas.
Round table comments
Yahya expressed concern over an Islamaphobic article in the Star. The group asked to collaborate with him on a letter to the editor, naming each of the faith traditions that collaborated.
Next Sunday is at the World Peace Buddhist service.
Valerie thanked the group for their commitment. She mentioned Youth at Risk West mentorship program and invited members to orientations, and left written information.
Percy provided information about an upcoming Alternatives to Violence workshop at CLU
